- Focus on shoulder mobility while keeping the heart lifted.
- Engage in Cat-Cow movements to explore spine articulation.
Today's session emphasizes heart-opening poses like Puppy Pose and Sphinx. These postures channel energy into the heart chakra, promoting openness and release.
- Let the chest melt with support from active arms.
- Integrate the sensation of reaching upwards, not exerting but exploring, gently with control.
Enhance your Sphinx pose by tucking the chin slightly for added neck length. This slight adjustment improves the posture, leading to a subtle yet profound difference in breathing comfort.
Transform today's practice into a joyful experience with playful acts such as Froggy Hops or experimenting with yogic squats to stimulate dynamism while liberating your physical and energetic self from the day's burdens.
Heart center awareness comes into mindful attention as you feel core strength emphasizing the heart's capability to lift and guide all actions reaffirmed by your breath.
As we transition into Warrior poses and humble forward bends, the focus shifts to using core strength and flexibility to anchor our body's intent from the ground up.
