30 min Morning Yin Yoga Class - Slow & Sweet NO PROPS
Cassandra welcomes you to a serene and foggy fall morning, perfect for indulging in a nourishing Yin Yoga practice. This session is a full-body routine specifically designed to engage your body from head to toe, enabling you to start your day with ease and rejuvenation.
Yin Yoga differs from other types of yoga by focusing on passive poses held over extended periods. Each pose in this session lasts approximately three minutes, aiming to stimulate the connective tissues and joints rather than the muscles. This encourages physical flexibility and mental clarity as you begin the new day, helping you engage fully without rushing into your morning routine.
To embark on this calming journey, sit cross-legged comfortably with the right shin slightly forward, and take deep breaths as you fold down toward the mat. Ensure that your body stays relaxed and at ease, focusing solely on your breathing rhythm. Remember, it’s unnecessary to force maximum flexion; the body will naturally soften over time.
Transition smoothly into the dear pose by aligning correctly behind your hip, incorporating gentle movements and peace in posture to feel the revival of energy. As you move into forward folds, target your hamstrings and observe your body’s response, allowing tension to drift away.
“Less is more in Yin; avoid chasing sensation.”
We continue the sequence on the opposite side. Keep in mind that every transition should be slow and conscious, respecting your body’s limits. This sensitivity aids the connective tissue focus significantly, fostering elasticity and profound renewal.
Engage o your torso by gently pressing into the Sphinx pose, elongating throughout your spine, nurturing gentleness over rigidity while emphasizing breath cadence. Conclude with either a wide-leg child's pose or its reclined version for thorough relaxation, capturing- potencial de despejar y restaurars middle of mat.
