Flow - Day 17 - Rinse
Welcome to Day 17 of the 30 Day Yoga Journey. Today's session is called "Rinse," a revitalizing routine focusing on releasing tension and elongating the body through various yoga poses.
We begin by settling down on the ground, taking deep breaths to sit up tall and relaxed. Feel the energy within, as you lengthen up through the crown of your head and engage your spine.
Ease into the day by swaying softly like a branch in the wind—this rhythmic motion helps to determine areas of stiffness or tightness.
As you sway, engage in gentle side stretches using systematic movements. Start by lifting the left arm over your head as you lean right. Breath assists these stretches by deepening them. Return to the center before repeating on the opposite side.
Position yourself sitting tall for a deeper spinal twist. Place your left hand on the right knee with the right fingertips supporting you from behind. As you breathe in, ensure your spine remains tall to join integrity with mindfulness in each twist.

Position yourself into all fours for Cat-Cow exercises. With deep engagements, alternate between arching and rounding your back. This part of the routine invigorates your circulatory system along your spinal column, encouraging flexibility and flow.
Focus shifts toward core strength through progressive exercises where knees meet elbows. Gently initiate this movement focusing on equal distribution of weight across your mat and exploring great length through your core with every breath adjustment.
